New Review From Stuart Attenborrow

I’ve always enjoyed a good movie. And I’ve always thought sound was more important than image. I mean the classic horror film isn’t quite so frightening without the delicate whispers wandering around the room now is it? The blockbuster action flick loses its impact without the dramatic score, thundering explosion, cracking wood and shattering glass. For this reason I put more emphasis on getting the sound right and dealt with the visuals later on.

So why Krix? I’m a firm believer of the phrase “you get what you pay for”. You may be tempted to buy the cheaper pre-packaged speakers. But while they certainly produce noise, they will ALWAYS miss the point of good sound: clarity, depth, subtlety. But here’s the thing – Krix go way beyond simply “getting what you pay for”. They are in a completely different class. Comparing them to the same priced speakers from any well known overseas brand yields the same result – they’re still in a completely different class.

The clarity of the KDX speakers is amazing. The imaging is incredible, both for music and home theatre. While I use the speakers mostly for movies, I find myself playing a lot of 2 channel material. They always amaze me. The build quality of all their products are second to none.

And what about the little Brix? To have such a crystal clear sound simply playing the surround is almost criminal. I’ve tried these guys as my fronts and it’s hilarious. These little speakers (with an accompanying sub) just blow you away with their commanding presence and detail.

But enough words, I suggest you find your nearest Krix dealer and listen for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
