I purchased the KDX Main to complement my Plasma TV in my apartment. At the time of purchase I was deciding between a pair of KDX or a fairly run of the mill home theatre in a box. I am glad I chose the KDX as the sound quality has been rewarding.

When placed at ear level on stands, the stereo imaging and overall clarity of the KDX speakers is superb. I have since tried more expensive floorstanding speakers in the same smallish room, and to be honest the KDX sounded better. The KDX have a more delicate sound with a higher degree of clarity without overwhelming the room with bass.

These speakers are a perfect match for someone seeking high quality sound in an apartment, without starting a war with the neighbours!
