A pair of Equinox have been the speakers of choice in my sons bedroom for the past few years, and I have to say their sound amazes me for such a small and elegant package. Although the Equinoxs are only wired into a small domestic shelf amp, they kick out a sound that is amazingly superior compared to the speakers that shipped with the unit.

I dumped the shelf amp speakers in the bin. We won't need them ever again. The bass response is freaky for such a small pair of speakers. I imagine they would make a great choice for home theatre rear speakers. Maybe they'll mysteriously disappear from my son's room one day!
